• Mid-range shot showing the material in situ
• Close-up shot showing condition clearly
• Scale reference where size is relevant (ruler, hand, coin)
• Photo focus verified on the device before moving on
• No flash glare obscuring the material
• No surveyor reflection in glass or mirrored surfaces
• Lagging or runs photographed showing extent, not just a single point
• Encapsulated material shown with encapsulation visible
• Photo attached directly to the ACM item, not to a generic folder

Reviewer-side workflow for validating asbestos surveys before sign-off.

• Survey status set to Ready for Office Review
• Survey integrity check run and all critical issues resolved
• Spot-check three ACMs against photo evidence and scoring
• Recommended actions consistent with risk scores
• No duplicate sample references within the survey (R&D)
• Empty or partial rooms reviewed and either populated or explicitly removed
• Duplicated items reviewed and amended where needed
• Internal review notes addressed and resolved
• Branding and surveyor declaration correct on cover page
• Status moved to Ready to Issue after sign-off
